User Data Deletion
How to delete your Credible account and personal data, including data from Facebook sign-in.
1. What gets deleted
When you request deletion we permanently remove your account and the personal data linked to it: your name, email address, phone number, profile picture, and any connected sign-in accounts (Facebook or Google). If you signed in with Facebook, this includes your Facebook user ID, name, email address, and profile picture that Facebook shared with us.
2. How to request deletion
- Sign in to Credible with the same method you used to create your account (email, Facebook, or Google).
- Scroll to the data-request form at the bottom of this page.
- Choose Deletion, optionally add a note, and submit.
- You will see a reference number. We confirm by email once deletion is complete.
3. Removing Credible from Facebook
You can also revoke Credible’s access on Facebook: open Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find Credible, and select Remove. This stops Facebook sharing new data with us. To delete the data we already hold, also submit a deletion request as described above.
4. If you can no longer sign in
Contact us through the contact page with the subject “Data deletion request” and the email address on your account. We will verify that you own the account before deleting anything.
5. Timing and exceptions
Deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request. Reviews you wrote are removed or anonymised. Payment records are kept for 7 years where the law requires it, and we may keep limited records needed to prevent fraud or resolve disputes. Everything else is erased and cannot be recovered.
See our Privacy Policy for full details of the data we collect and your rights.
